Profile - Simon Birch

 

 

Simon is a commercial photographer specialising in industrial, civil works, agricultural and time-lapse projects.  With over 20 years working in the industry, he produces unique images - dynamic, colourful, textural and on brand.

Working with his clients to develop the brief, Simon uses his knowledge of camera, lighting, pre-production and logistics to execute each shoot with care and attention to detail.  Strong in-camera composition and lighting balance are combined with advanced post-processing techniques to produce the highest quality images.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, location work is the foundation of Simon's photography.  His tenacity and drive to get the shot sees him traveling to all parts of the country, and exploring many different environments.  On site, he is equally at home with camera prone on the gravel, chest deep in an icy river or shooting from a cherry picker.
